Application

n-TOA (CAS No. 4223-03-4) is produced by the addition of acrylonitrile and diisobutylene in an acidic environment

  • Personal Care – Copolymer / Terpolymer of n-TOA monomer with acrylates are used in hair spray, mousses & styling products that gives outstanding curl, retention, hand hold & humidity resistance.
  • Anti-Scalant – Copolymer of n-TOA with acrylics especially with acrylic acid is not only effective in stabilizing iron in solution but also effective against scales in presence of soluble iron
  • Enhanced Oil Recovery: Copolymer & Terpolymer of n-TOA, provides a balance between aqueous solubility, brine tolerance, viscosification efficiency, hydrolytic & mechanical stability and hence used for EOR polymers
